DataSignal IQ is operated by GRAVITY115™. This page describes how we actually handle data today. It is maintained by us, it is not an independent audit, and it is not a substitute for advice from your own counsel.

No definitions section, no cross references. Just what happens to the data.
What we hold, and what we never copy
A connected AWS or Google source stays where it is. DataSignal IQ reads its schema so columns can be filtered and grouped, and sends queries to it when you ask a question. The rows are not copied into DataSignal IQ, and they are not retained here after a query returns.
A file you upload is different. Those rows are stored as a private dataset so they can be queried later. Every column in the file is detected and kept, including custom ones. Nothing in an uploaded dataset is visible to another customer, and nothing is pooled with other accounts.
Who can see a dataset
Access is decided per dataset, not per account. A dataset you create is visible to you. It becomes visible to a teammate only when it is explicitly granted to them, and a grant can be withdrawn at any time.
These rules are enforced in the database on every path, including exports and the answers returned by the Ask agent. There is no route through the product that returns rows a person has not been granted.
Account information
To run an account we hold an email address, authentication credentials handled by our authentication provider, and the record of which datasets an account may reach.
We also keep an operational record of activity in your account: uploads, exports, saved segments and queries run. This is what makes export history and the audit trail work.
How answers are produced
When you ask a question in plain language, the question and a description of your dataset's column structure are sent to a model provider so the question can be turned into a query. The query then runs against your data and returns counts and aggregates.
Contact rows are not sent to the model provider to be summarised. The interpretation happens on structure and on computed results, not on raw records.
Retention and deletion
An uploaded dataset lives until you delete it. Deleting a dataset removes its rows, its column registry and its saved segments.
Disconnecting a source removes the stored credential and ends our access to it. Because the rows were never copied here, there is nothing further to delete on our side.
